Vital Fitness Hosts Breast Cancer Boot Camp, raising money for local family

Wilmington, Ohio -October 6, 2018 – Vital Fitness hosted their 7th Annual Boot Camp for Breast Cancer on Saturday, October 6, 2018 raising more than $4000 for a local community member and their family who is currently fighting breast cancer.

Everyone showed up dressed in pink, ready to work out with the underlying goal of spreading awareness of this heartbreaking disease. Past recipients also gave updates on their own battle with breast cancer.

This year the event was also largely sponsored by the employees of Polaris, Wilmington. They joined forces to help raise money to donate towards the event.

“We sweat together and prayed together” said Amy Zimmerman, Owner of Vital Fitness.  “Our goal is always to uplift our host family (as well as past host families) in their fight. We hope it gives them a sense of support and love from the community.”
