Amy has been a fitness coach, specializing in personal training and group fitness classes for over 15 years. She started her career as a group fitness instructor, figure competitor, CPT and now owner of Vital Fitness. She is a champion in the cause of helping others live a fuller, healthier life. She has a genuine approach to help inspire, change and improve all areas of other people’s lives.

Cheryl Schweitzer

Office Manager, Group Fitness & Personal Trainer

Cheryl has been a certified group fitness instructor for close to 20 years, teaching a wide variety of group fitness classes ranging from Strength, Hi-Lo Aerobics, Boot Camp and Step.  She graduated from Southern State College with a degree in Applied Business.  Cheryl is also a Vital personal trainer

Lara Luttrell

Group Fitness & Personal Trainer

Lara is a graduate of Wilmington College with a bachelor’s degree in Wellness & Sports Management. Lara’s passion is to educate motivate, and encourage others. Her background as a physical therapist technician has enabled her to make that important, trusting and personal relationship with clients. She is now following her dreams as a Personal Trainer and life coach. Her focus is to educate individuals and motivate them to achieve their goals, improving their health and attaining a total sense of well-being.

Gary Massie

Group Fitness & Personal Trainer

Gary is an AFAA certified personal trainer, certified group fitness instructor, certified kickboxing instructor and certified Spin instructor.  He is a football coach  and a former track coach who decided to offer his coaching and motivational skills to everyone.  Coach Massie has a passion for helping others reach their goals in health, fitness, weight loss, sports, strength and running.

Bethany Griffith

Bethany is an ACE fitness and personal training certified instructor teaching spin, group strength, TRX and boot camp classes. Additionally, she continually encourages and motivates others to achieve their optimal levels of success in all facets of their life.

Robyn Pickard

Group Fitness, Personal Trainer, Tumbling Coach

Another newly AFAA certified group instructor, Robyn recently obtained her Group Exercise certification. As a former competitive gymnast, her love for the sport led her to become a gymnastics and cheerleading coach for more than 20 years. “I’m excited to expand my passion for teaching & fitness to include adults!”

Tyler Viars

Powerlifting/Strength Training Personal Trainer

Tyler has a strong background in kinesiology and nutrition from Auburn University. Over the past several years, he also has been involved in both the competitive bodybuilding and powerlifting worlds. He is an avid hunter, forager and outdoorsman, priding himself in a waste-nothing, utilize everything way of cooking. With his skillfulness in the kitchen, background in nutrition and kinesiology, along with the power of Vital Fitness and The Diet Doc., Tyler has all the tools to help his clients achieve his or her best life!

Suzanne Addison

Group Fitness

ACE Group Exercise, Turbokick, PiYo and Spinning certified, Suzanne started teaching in college and actively returned to it in 2007.   She also holds a BA in Marketing and MA in Organizational Management. Suzanne works as the Manager, IT Services at the David J. Joseph Company (a division of Nucor Steel) in Cincinnati.

Brooke Achtermann

Group Fitness

Brooke is a certified ZUMBA instructor originally from Hazard, Kentucky and a graduate of Morehead State University.  She is a certified Zumba instructor and has been teaching Zumba since 2010.

Tara Williams

Group Fitness

Tara is a certified AFAA cycle instructor. She graduated with a BS in business administration and currently works for NIKE.  She has a deep passion for staying active in all ways possible, enjoys her daughter’s company and spending time with family and friends.  “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Dawn Miller

Group Fitness

Dawn, both an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and a TURBO-KICK certified instructor, has been teaching since November 2011. “Teaching was always a desire for me but shyness was an obstacle I had to overcome. It took me many years to do it but there’s nothing I love more than helping people obtain their goals, push themselves past their comfort zones & see changes in their body and lifestyle.”

AFAA Group Exercise and Silver Sneakers Certified, Lorry brings an awesome dynamic to Vital.  She offers motivation and comfort to any participant new or old that steps into her class!

Shannon Bone

Group Fitness

Shannon Bone has been a group fitness instructor since 1995 and has been an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor since 1999. She has attended 12 national and International fitness conferences throughout the United States in cities such as Las Vegas, New Orleans, Orlando, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami.

Throughout the past 22+ years, Shannon has taught a full range of group fitness classes from Step, Cardio Mashup, Total Body Conditioning, Boot Camp, Funk & Hip Hop, and Group Strength. At Vital, Shannon teaches Boot Camp and is also a sub instructor for various classes.
